This is easily my most popular image, it shows us the stunning coastline along the Red Sea from the Sinai in Egypt. I have managed to capture the amazing and magical purple, pink and red light produced at sunset as it reflects off the mountains and sea.

The mountains are empty, yellow rocks by day but just for half an hour in the evening as the sun sets they reflect this red, pink and purple light on to the sea and cause the water to glow red and we have the Red Sea. As I walked the beach I found a walk way full of character that invites us to venture off the beach and out into this magical place.

I really love the way the jetty has been captured in so much detail with the warmth and texture of the open water and colourful sky behind. This image has used ‘HDR’ High Dynamic Range techniques to bring out the huge range of colours that are invisible to the naked eye.
