We would like to to say good luck to Emma-Jane Biggs who is taking on the herculean task of cycling from Lime Street in the heart of London to Monte Carlo. She is doing this to help raise awareness and support for the charity the Wooden Spoon Society.

Wooden Spoon is a children's charity founded in 1981 that is dedicated to helping disadvantaged children and young people across the British Isles live happier and richer lives. To find out more about the great work they do and how to get involved visit http://www.woodenspoon.com.

A little from Emma about here planned journey to Monte Carlo:

"On Friday the 30th of August 2013, I will be one of around 50 people cycling from Lime Street in London, to Monte Carlo in the south of France, where we will arrive on Saturday the 7th of September!

Our chosen charity is the Wooden Spoon Society, which helps disabled children in the UK, so please give generously!

More about the ride:

We will cycle an average ride of 90 miles per day over varied terrain. The total vertical elevation gain over 9 days is 14km - which is the equivalent to reaching the stratosphere!!!!

Our hardest day in the saddle is the seventh day and our first in the Alps.  This consists of 160km and an elevation gain of some 6km including the infamous 21 hairpins of Alpe D’Heuz, which is a climb of 13.8 km at an average incline of 7.9%!"

We wish Emma the best of luck and would love it if you could show your support by visiting here fundraising page  http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/EmmaJaneMonteCarlo, any donation small or large will go a massive way to helping this great charity.

Canvas Prints Framing The Planet We are very pleased to announce that not only do we still offer canvas prints in the US and Canada but we now offer your favourite image from Framing The Planet as a canvas print in the UK!

All canvases ordered in the UK are produced to order by our specialist printer One Vision Imaging and are now shipped directly to you from within their lab in Coventry. Not only does this mean you have the best quality finish available for your canvas but you can have your new artwork in as little as five days.

When you order your canvas from within the UK One Vision Imaging will set to work printing the image using their state of the art Large Format Inkjet Printer. They print directly onto artists canvas and complete the canvas by gently wrapping it around a stretcher bar.

Canvases ordered in the US and Canada are produced by our long standing and world respected print lab Mpix. We have had great success working with Mpix and so we know that you'll love your new peace of art as soon as it arrives! The process at Mpix is similar to that used by One Vision Imaging, images are printed on premier art canvas and professionally wrapped around a 1.5" thick wooden stretcher frame.
